Have faith! Times will get better. There is light at the end of the tunnel. There is a George Washington among us! My name is not George Washington, but I am a seventh generation American and my name is Paul Sims.
I hear the people say they have had enough of how officials are elected. It is time for a candidate that cares more for God, family, and this country, instead of just himself. Be prepared! It is time to take America back one vote at a time and sometimes the real choice is not always in front of you.
I am a come-from-behind candidate and am willing to work hard for this election even if I do it with a write-in ballot. I am determined to give the people an option of choosing who they want. Voters should not have to choose between the lesser of two evils.
Why is there light at the end of the tunnel? After attending an event called The Great Awakening at Liberty University in Virginia in 2010, I realized that America is being called back to the “One” the great creator who will see them through good times and bad. God once blessed America, but America has stepped away from God. Now, it is time for America to bless God again by calling him back into our country and our lives. However, it is important that the people choose a leader who reflects these values, and whose principles are based upon integrity, not political or financial pressure.
My recent six-state tour is confirmation that America is ready to make a change. I have heard directly from the people of the south central and eastern states. Their awakening is happening right now and getting bigger with every moment. We need a leader who has literally been through the fire, has been bent but not broken and has proven he has a titanium back bone. I have done so.
I am a farmer, rancher, and successful businessman; an everyday man of the people. As a disabled and retired firefighter, I have been through the furnace with you. I am committed to prying open the door of our burning country, empowering citizens to escape this firetrap and take back our God-given freedom, liberty, and pursuit of happiness that no power, group, or government can take away. Sadly, that is exactly what is happening. Our rights, our jobs, our prosperity, and our freedom, is being stripped from us one by one, against our will.
It is time for Americans to stand up and take back what belongs to us, our country. Let the sleeping giant fully awake and grasp that truly brilliant light of America that shines for the entire world to see. First we must make America strong again by creating jobs, balancing our budget, and protecting our homeland. As a country, we have been weakened. Now we must get strong as individuals and strengthen our communities. If we are not blessed, we cannot bless others. When America is strong again then we can help and bless others. It is time to flex our American citizen muscles and pull ourselves out of the fire without leaving anyone behind.
I am committed to voters for the long haul, but I also need voters to be committed to stepping out in faith and fiercely defending our candidacy by taking back America one vote at a time even if at the last minute, and even with a write-in ballot. It has taken community to get us through this recession. It will take an even stronger and united community to pull us out. It can be done and I can lead us there!
